Biography
For as long as she can remember, Elizabeth knew she wanted to work in a field where she could help solve problems and make a difference. That interest led her to pursue a legal career, starting with her undergraduate studies in criminal justice and law and policy at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. While there, she gained early exposure to legal reasoning and advocacy through clerking at a boutique criminal defense firm. Upon graduation, Elizabeth became a police officer in the City of Madison, Wisconsin.
Elizabeth went on to earn her law degree and MBA from the University of Montana, where she concentrated her coursework on corporate and tax law. During law school, she also served as a student attorney in the school’s Technology Transfer Office, assisting with day-to-day management of the University’s IP Portfolio. Before joining Albee Law, Elizabeth practiced at a boutique Taft-Hartley firm in Chicago, where she specialized in compliance for Multi-Employer Employee Benefit Funds.
Since joining Albee Law, Elizabeth focuses on supporting small and mid-sized businesses with their day-to-day legal needs. She assists clients in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate governance and structure, and representing clients in business transactions. Elizabeth enjoys learning about each client’s unique business and planning accordingly for their continued success.
Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and hiking with her dog.
